Children Thrive with Books
Our commitment is to building libraries in village schools and orphanages that often have few if any books available to students and teachers. Books are collected through book drives, sorted and packed at our office in New Hampshire and shipped over to Tanzania on a regular basis. We work closely with schools to ensure that books are being used appropriately.
How to Help
Support Shipping Books
Shipping is the biggest cost for building libraries, it costs about $1.00 to sort and ship a book. We select books carefully to build well rounded libraries suited to the needs of each school.
Conduct a Book Drive
Conducting a book drive is a wonderful community service project. The best books are gently used children’s picture books, early readers, and lesson books for teachers. We cannot accept encyclopedias, text books or magazines. Books should be shipped to our offices at:
10 Occom Ridge
Hanover, NH 03755
